which farm builds are good for Halycon farming? and it's to be done solo?

55 Dual Prot Necro works very well. Can kill boss 2 and in HM

It's terribly off-topic, so very sorry, but this whole thread amazes me. Not in a negative way but really just in an awestruck way. I'm a fan of getting the "coolest" or "trendy" weapons too but this fella is going for his preference regardless of what the rest of GW or anyone else thinks. Kudos sir. Genuine kudos.

At any rate, the aforementioned farms are good, and a 330 hp Rit is a fantastic way to farm it. Also check out the old way to farm Wajjun Bazaar for Survivor before Kilroy came out (look in the Farming section under Survivor and it should be easy to find). You can kill a whole lot of Jade Brotherhood and get those chances. Although, come to think of it, as many of those as I've had come and go and merched, I'm not sure I've ever seen a gold one at all.

thx for the info Exico. i used to farm haylcon a lot before all the nerfs, but never used to open the chests. at least now i know what i'll be spending my money on. i just did a few runs and there are usually 1-2 chests each run so stock up on lockpicks if ur gonna do this. also a lot of white bo staves drop, but i don't recall having any gold bo stave drops from the sins.

this is the build i use for mo/n but there are a few different builds and profs that can farm this: [Monk Halycon;OwQTc4HC1JPcXXJ1DAi8IlsHAA]

I don't think I've ever really made it past all those animals. Not something the build I run can handle, I guess.

if its the W/N build, sure it can, its just a matter of good timing, and relaxing. i recommend Dwarven Stability and Air of Superiority though.

Yeah it is ^^ not much left to do, but farm for things I want. (Which means no inscriptions)

I tried the halcyon farm. It was Meh

The animals. Easy. Easy. Right side, Dwarven Stability. Run it To the gate (right of bridge) in the back (with Glads Defense as soon as aggro catches you) they will un aggro off of you after the gate.
Since the animals dont drop, I dont kill. To many times has a chest spawned back there in chos little fort. Some clever use of dwarven Stability/Glads and necrotic traversal will get you to cho pretty easy. And or any chests lurking in there. Watch aggro back here though the scribes dont play.

can someone post the w/n build for minister cho's pls? i just had a go there with my mo/n but took 12mins to reach those animals at which point i failed the mission cos togo died lol. i did get a sup vigor from halycon yesterday because theres usually a lot of gold garb drops, so i'll probably rotate between the two for a bit.
